Reader Presets
Save a set of image-reader settings and apply it to a title, a source, or your defaults.
A reader preset saves image-reader settings under a name. For example, save one preset for manga and another for long vertical chapters. Applying a preset copies its settings to your defaults, a source, or a title.
Save a Preset
- Open settings from the image reader, or open Settings → Image Reader for your defaults.
- Choose Global, Source, or Title under Applies To, when that control is shown.
- Adjust the settings you want to save.
- Open Presets and select Save as Preset.
- Enter a name and select Save.
The preset saves the settings shown on the screen. This includes unchanged values from the source settings or global defaults.
Apply a Preset
- Open image-reader settings for the destination where you want the preset.
- Choose where the settings apply under Applies To.
- Open Presets and choose a saved preset under Apply Preset.
Title settings take priority over Source settings. Source settings take priority over Global defaults. Applying a global preset does not replace a title or source override.
Source and title choices appear when you open settings for a source title. The defaults screen does not show title or source choices.
After You Apply It
The destination keeps a copy of the settings. Deleting the saved preset does not undo settings that you already applied. To keep another version, adjust the settings and save a new preset.
Presets save the image-reader settings that can apply to a title or source. They do not include the This Device controls, the separate default reading-mode choice, or book and PDF settings.
Delete a Preset
Open Presets → Delete Preset and choose the preset to delete.
